Objective

The objective of the policy is to provide information on the recruitment, onboarding and orientation processes.

Recruitment

Human Capital is the key to the success for any organization. It is important to ensure that we get the right mix of skilled talent who would fit into our organizational culture and manage required operations.

  • The talent is tapped using various sources like company website, employee referral, internal sourcing, manpower consultants, advertisement, campus recruitment and direct application mailing to careers@vnrseeds.com to ensure that the best talent within the industry is made available.
  • The recruitment process is transparent and fair with proper recording of the panel’s feedback of the candidate being interviewed on various parameters like strengths, achievements, proficiency, behavorial traits etc.
  • VNR follows a robust selection process with the help of various selection tools like aptitude test, functional test, proficiency test, psychometric test, Group Discussion, case studies and personal interview based on the level & type of candidates being interviewed.

Onboarding

  • On joining the employee is handed over a joining kit comprising of various forms to capture personal information for records and statutory purpose.
  • The employee shall submit copy of educational certificates, address proof, identity proof, photographs etc. for creation of employee’s personal file, post verification of documents with the original set.
  • HR/ Admin Representative shall facilitate employee with all administrative & IT support like email ID creation, EXPRO ID creation , bank account opening, ID card, visiting cards etc.

Orientation/Induction

  • The Induction helps the employee in understanding the company, its operations and policies of the organization.
  • The information is provided in two parts. The first part is a brief orientation given on the joining day.
  • The second part is a detailed three day orientation program covering the detailed company information, departmental functions and introduction to various operational softwares and policies. A guided tour is also planned to the facilities of the company.
